DAY 2 - 27th October 2017 The IEBC, has called off a repeat Presidential poll in Kisumu today after rights groups, activists, opposition & church leaders pressured the commission to re - think on having polls tomorrow Saturday 28th October 2017. Residents are adamant on a choice of using their voting right but in this cae they are not prepared until reforms are made by IEBC Commission.
Zimbabwe's civil societies today held a demo demanding Zimbabwe Electoral Commission to make the forthcoming elections scheduled to be held in July 2018 free and fair they demonstrate at Africa Unity square and at parliament of Zimbabwe.

NUMBER OF UNREGISTERED VOTERS CONTINUE TO INCREASE Numbers are rising each day for unregistered voters according to Zimbabwe election commissions (ZEC), end of day reports. The number stands at 44,081 persons who have been turned away from voter registration centers across the country as at close of business on 7th November 2017. Reasons for being turned away, include but are not limited to persons being perceived as ‘aliens’, not having proof of residence, defaced identity documents or being under age.
