43,307 aspiring voters turned away from registration Some 43,307 persons have been turned away from voter registration centers across the country as at close of business on 6th November 2017 according to figures released by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC). Reasons for being turned away, include but are not limited to persons being perceived as ‘aliens’, not having proof of residence, defaced identity documents or being under age.
Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa had a press conference last night. He insisted poisoning occured but denied saying he was poisoned in Gwanda. Accused VP Phelekezela Mphoko of spreading 'falsehoods, causing alarm, disunity and despondency...' Reaffirmed his loyalty to President Robert Mugabe.

29th October 2017 - DAY 4 The head of Election Commission, Chebakuti defends the results coming out have not been manipulated. The verification process is transparent. Analysts believe that only 40% voting took place so therefore figures do not tally as they are being announced from the BOMA, where the IEBC, is based during this poll period. Observers have been indoors at their hotels while violence has been spreading through the country. Opposition strong holds residents have chosen not to vote for which polls were did not take place in those areas. Kenyan’s await IEBC’s repeat poll tally.
The Kenyan election re run for the 26th of this month still remains uncertain after the opposition party of Raila Odinga withdraws. After the disputed August 8th elections Supreme Court of Kenya declared a re run.
BVR KITS FAIL TO SUBMIT STATISTICS FROM OVER 700 CENTERS OF THE COUNTRY The total number of Bio metric kits stands at 2697 across Zimbabwe. The number of centers that are not submitting daily seem to be increasing according to the daily update report by the election commission. As of today the 8th November 2017 the centers which have not submitted are at 716 while 1981 sent in their submissions. As Zimbabwe Election Commission releases it’s daily report the number of declined registration members continues to increase making the figure 44,641 to date.
